The world of ‘Agatha All Along’ is created by practical set pieces.

Let me translate that statement: practical sets dramatically enhanced by CGI, with some, maybe all scenes having majority CGI.

NOTHING is pure practical, and it never was. It’s always enhanced by in camera, or post processing. If it wasn’t, it would look awful.

Pretty damn good post processing though. Manages to keep the atmosphere dark while still letting us see what’s going on.

The distinction is it’s not just green screens.

Not sure what you’re on about.

I don’t think the article claims “no CGI” and certainly doesn’t claim to be straight-out-of-camera with no post processing. It’s about practical sets, which they do use. Not the mostly-green-screen or The Volume virtual sets that many shows use now
