“Attention to all blacks who plan to vote for Trump,” the sign outside New Era Baptist Church reads, “you are an ignorant stupid negro.” The other side says, “Warning African Americans: A vote for Trump will put Blacks back to picking cotton.”

Oh FFS, “negro” isn’t the “N” word, and this is within the black community so don’t judge. I’m glad they’re speaking plain truth in a way that might have genuine impact.

Uh, the N- word in the title is misleading. Do people blot out the term when talking about UNCF, too?

Not that I’m advocating for bringing terms back - I realize certain things fall out of fashion - but I do wonder how the titles, and the content, of MLK’s speeches are discussed. I noticed for a time that the term “black” was also seemingly teed up for a similar treatment, by the way and that did not happen.

Going by what I guess is a new norm, it’s the United N---- College Fund. They used to do spots on television way back.

I don’t care for the vitriol but the sentiment is exactly how I feel.

Any person who is not a white male millionaire that votes for trump I’d am idiot, but it’s particular true of black people and hispanics.

Here’s the thing, white male millionaires always end up the deadest during autocracies. They think they will be able to keep and grow their power and the opposite is true.

Having money doesn’t keep you from being a dumbass.

Title feels like clickbait. Would be more convinced it was deliberate clickbait if the thumbnail didn’t directly show the sign saying “negro” and not the actual slur.

But that just makes the choice of title more confusing.

I mean, I sort of agree but it’s not like they could put “Negro” in the title and they did properly put the correct number of dashes for the missing letters.

They could if they meant negro, which means black in Spanish, not n----, the archaic term for black people. See? Censored.

Just for clarification, I fully agree with the censorship. I just agree that at first glance it looks like they used the OTHER N word, which is what the first was saying when he mentioned “clickbait”.

For the same reason they can’t/shouldn’t put any other racist slurs in the title. Duh.

Good it’s true. He is a literal racist. If you will vote for someone that hates people with your skin color you deserve what comes to you.

Ah, the democrats are showing their true colors once again as the party of the KKK.

Last time I checked the KKK endorses the Republican party these days. Same as literal Nazis. Isn’t that why Republicans allow Klan hoods and Nazi flags at their gatherings? Calling Democrats the party of the KKK isn’t the insult you think it is when Republicans are the ones openly embracing their rhetoric.

Republicans will call themselves a dictator and get mad when others calls themselves anti dictator. Bunch of snowflakes.

Also the father of the current Republican candidate was arrested at a Klan rally while the current Democratic candidate is literally black, making the statement even more asinine.

Additionally, her father is the first black scholar granted tenure at the Stanford Department of Economics.

Black people had already switched over to the Democrats in the 1940s well before the Civil Rights Act happened. The “Big Switch” in the 1960s was North vs South, not White vs Black.
