Rescue boats, coast guard and aviation participated in the search operation. A request for assistance was sent to nearby vessels.

The next day, the Ukrainian was spotted and rescued by the crew of the dry cargo ship MOONLIGHT. The man spent about 20 hours in the water. He was taken to the hospital.

I imagine it was freezing. Makes sense since the Turkish sailor you can hear yelling is basically saying “Bring me a blanket for him”
