Okay the first one of these I get it. But the most attention should be on those removed comments at the bottom of the list. So from the bottom:

What’s the purpose of removing a comment asking @MomoTimeToDie@sh.itjust.works what a ‘momo’ is and why it’s ‘time to die’? Doesn’t that seem like a good fucking question? Why is a mod stepping in on this? If I were a moderator I sure would want to know what’s up with that.

What rule is broken by saying their instance is bad? And in reply to a story about naked unashamed bigotry being allowed on it no less.

A smarmy little paragraph calling out someone for being toxic and whining about toxicity in return? Nary an expletive.

And just what the hell is wrong with the comment second from the top?

@MomoTimeToDie@sh.itjust.works hey fuckface what’s your name mean?

Presumably they are referring to the classic 80s magical girl series “Magical Princess Minky Momo” which almost ended halfway through when the animators had Minky Momo get run over by a truck. For the full story behind this wacky anime, check out this video.

Libs love to worship free speech and the marketplace of ideas, until anyone left of them starts talking. They dont even hide it, its fucking maddening.

10 degrees to the right if it affects them personally.

They’re already having their whiny “can we block Hexbear” post, which will soon be followed by an even more whiny “can we defederate from Hexbear” post.

Edit: Yep, here’s the “can we defederate from Hexbear” post.

“They’re whining about Hexbear!” Hexbear whined, whinily.

… edit:

I was gonna just leave this as it was originally written, being a joke and all, but the past few minute I’m having second thoughts.

I like hexbear and its users. I’m glad hexbear is still federated with lemm.ee. I don’t want to let my silly comment make it sound as though anything else is the case.

I want to acknowledge that there’s actually nothing intrinsically whiny about merely observing the fact that there indeed ARE people who ARE upset and ARE complaining, while holding the opinion that the basis for those complaints is weak, irrational, or any number of other valid criticisms.

I actually do also believe that these people who are complaining about hexbear are whining. I just felt, in the moment, that implying that commenting on the whiners could itself be construed as whining might have been humorous. But it’s a mid joke at best and I admit it’s probably pretty cringe actually, sorry.
