I cannot overstate the incredible sense of relief the headline alone provides. Reading the article—it’s a physical thing, many months of worry cautiously lifting from the pit of my stomach. I had very little hope this would not be overturned, in our political climate, like, I’ve been absolute doom and gloom about it, all apocalyptic feeling. I don’t want to sound over the top, it’s just been such a sickening worry for a long time now. I am so happy and grateful. ICWA is so vitally important.
I’ve been waiting for June with such dread and to see this news, thank goodness. I had to read on multiple news sites to believe it.
