Title
The article doesnt mention anything about islam, muslims, etc. and there was only like 4 comments, none mentioning islam or muslims. So the mods here assumed the attacks were done by muslims and decided to remove the post.
This is also what happens when mods just see a large number of reports in a short period of time and do absolutely no investigating into the post themselves to make sure those reports are legit. I would generally note the mod taking ridiculous actions like this, and then report them to the other mods because they aren’t helping if they’re being lazy about it.
This is the new standard. Every group is throwing out the word “phobic” against anything pertaining to their group, leaving no room for any real discussion. Everyone’s insulated in their own little bubble, popping any bubbles that don’t perfectly mesh with theirs, and then surprised that there’s no understanding between groups. It’s not an islam problem, or an LGBTQ+ problem, it’s a modern social interest group problem.
Not quite. The real answer here is money. Reddit is part owned by Dubai venture capitalists and Reddit is deathly afraid of ANYTHING remotely anti-islam as they risk losing funding so they completely restrict speech around it and remove anyone who doesn’t comply. Fuck Reddit.
Religion ruins everything.
Fuck religion.
