Panic! At The Disco’s ‘I Write Sins Not Tragedies’

I originally listened to the version where they censored the word ‘god’, which is stupid on its own but the songs a banger.

Now when i listen to how he goes like 3 octaves higher for the single word god, its just jarringly out of place. Which, might be the point? Its still annoying.

Yaught - Paradise Engineering.

Bring in the retro synth, introduce a slapping bass beat, and just when you’re ready for a shot of adrenalin in comes the overraught, out of tempo, spoken word over the top.

:-(

Similarly, every Mogwai album has to have a synth-voice track for some reason. Presumably to give the audience a chance to go to the loo without missing anything.

“Goat Flokk” by Cristobal and the Sea

Majority of the song is fantastic, but the last 1/4th has an extremely loud and shrill flute solo that nearly makes my ears hurt.

Pretty much any song where they have to say their name about a dozen times. Just in case its too generic to tell I guess

I’m not generally anti-Donna when it comes to the Grateful Dead but there’s definitely the odd track delivered with all the grace of a toddler with a recorder. Then again, every member of that band ruined the odd track at one point or another!

Still wish I had been around to see them more than any other band though.
