I’m assuming you disagree with the poster. However, vouchers for charter schools is a step in that direction because it’s taking money away from public schools and many Republicans are looking to expand such programs.

The amount of times this has happened to me is surprisingly slim. And the times it has is more because the workflow has changed or was originally misunderstood by those that made the JIRA.

Anime has gotten quite popular and with the uptick in new shows you end up with a lot of similar things. I wouldn’t say anime has gotten more cringe because it’s had a lot of cringe as far back as I can remember. Hell, Dragon Ball is pretty pervy and that’s from the 80s. The best shows tend not to have a whole lot. But there’s a lot more series now so all the cringe stuff is just easy to find.

Finding the good shows among the muck isn’t any different with anime than it it with regular TV or movies. There’s tons of reality TV, crime dramas, medical shows, etc. How many of them actually stand out or stand the test of time. Far fewer than what is produced.

I don’t think we let him play after that. That happened about 2 decades ago and what happened afterwards isn’t what really stuck with me.

In a semi-literal instance, I was nearly shot in my eye with an airsoft gun because they fucking blind fired around a corner and I wasn’t wearing eye protection. Got hit right at the edge of my eye socket. You bet your ass I wrote eye protection after that. Doesn’t mean we weren’t all still angry at the guy because we told him not to do that before we even started. And this was the reason why. Even with eye protection you still don’t want to get shot in the face. It hurts like hell. We didn’t have full face masks.
