Bo7a
Yup. I’m Bo7a.
Hello from the forests of Quebec. I’m a huge fan of decentralization and open source tools. I will be hanging around here and watching reddit implode from afar. I was one of the digg exodus crowd, so I know that there is no way I can live without a link aggregator and discussion platform, lemmy seems like an instant win to me!
Xubuntu because I am lazy these days.
I have only been lightly related to mutual aid groups, but I have participated in some capacity with at least a dozen all over the world. In both Canada and the US it often seemed like it a charity donation rather than adding something to a pool that you might also need help from. Like - When I am flush with cash I will donate to some mutual aid group and months later when I need some help, whether financial or just ‘an extra set of arms for a hug’, it is either not forthcoming, or given with obvious hesitation/affront.
This is not everywhere, obviously. And I wouldn’t even say it was the predominant interaction. Just more prevalent here than what I saw in Europe.
You are stuck between a mackerel at a3 and a freshwater trout at a5. What do you do?
And the next time the NDP is in power we will hear how these limits are their fault.
I have been a plex premium member for many years but I always just turn off internet sources. Can you explain what a pre-roll is?
Nah
Screw their case. Keep religion out of our schools. ANY religion.
I disagree. They can practice their religion at home. Not at the one place where logic and reasoning should be paramount over superstition.
My kids had a daily task to practice their creative writing, this doesn’t mean the school needs to accommodate them. And if anyone argues that the religious task has more importance than creative writing, then we are right back into the territory we started at. Special treatment for any religion should not be part of school policy.
