From the context it seemed like people were upvoting because the poster was shitting on raddle tbh. But from some of the more reactionary reactions in this here thread I’d tend to agree that a discussion may indeed be warranted. Either way, it’s going on now so feel free to disregard me entirely
Imagine being psychologically scarred by your own trolling attempt at debate lmao
“can have little a salami” ffs
I only skimmed one part, the ‘Socially Necessary Labor’-segment, and… at least the first criticism read like a (willful, perhaps) misunderstanding of the concept as Marx described it. The second is about practical implementation, and how that was basically impossible in the soviet union and the last is about how it’s hard to measure (duh, it’s a theoretical concept for the most part; mostly useful in the conception of further theory).
If the other criticisms follow a similar line, they’ll take one micro-aspect of Marxist theory and then lament how that aspect, in isolation, isn’t getting you anywhere.
Had to check it out, the account that posted the hexbear mention has to be some elaborate bit slash advertisement account by someone here, it’s hilarious :michael-laugh:
Look.
I’ll keep this short as my therapist has recommended I stop using social media.
You have been infiltrated by the worst kind of leftist scum: hexbear-tankies.
They are sick to their core, make fun of critical thinkers that question this new normal and have no respect for valid professions like housing providers.
and
These hexbear can be identified by their sicko-tag they proudly wear.
??? DRM wasn’t even a thing back then, was it
it’s not yours, yes - but it is you - or, it will have been you.
Organs aren’t simple possessions to be utilized, they are what constitute you. Sure, you can look at the utility function of a bit of human tissue shaped into an organ and decide that it may better serve someone else at a point where you are no longer - but that decision should be your own conscious decision, in my humble opinion.
I’m a donor myself, but I find it questionable to try and guilt or otherwise coerce or even worse, rationalize people into donating.
