My violin teacher called it practicing without ambition. Every time you practice, you’re supposed to criticize yourself and constantly compare yourself to better players so that you can strive to master a specific part of playing. In a healthy way, of course. Otherwise, you can “practice” for fifty years and still never learn anything.

It started as a 4chan prank to trick liberals, but ended up being taken just as seriously by Nazis, KKK, and white supremacists. It was called Operation O-KKK and the plan was to flood Twitter using, and I quote, “basic white girl names” accounts and tweet that the OK sign is a white supremacy symbol.

Later, the OK sign became like a signal to these white power people that you were a sympathizer or member. I don’t know how true this is, but at this point the OK sign were said to represent the letter W and P, for white power.

During this time I remember a lot more memes used by these losers. I think Pepe? I don’t remember much else.

So the guy in the pic is just a homophobic bigot? Or homophobic but also sexist, on account of the female characters looking as worn as the male characters? I’m too old to understand what woke means, but the guy’s post is also confusing to read.

Lemmy isn’t very different from reddit. When people can’t reply with proper reason, they just go through your profile to downvote everything. Be assured I am no bigot, I was only sharing my own experience in my religion, which was not great.

I’m not down about it, I expected some downvotes from a question like this, because Lemmy isn’t that different from reddit 😅

Will separating the chicken teriyaki from the rice with a layer of waxed paper or saran wrap help with preventing the rice from absorbing moisture from the chicken?
