I am really enjoying the concept of Lemmy but am still learning about it. I’ll probably stick around to see how it grows and evolves. I kind of like not being on Reddit.
No ads EVER. I’m still learning Lemmy, I wish I could set up my own instance but have no idea where to begin.

In which insurance are you attempting to create the community?
I love being a part of something that isn’t extremely large. All of the issues I’ve been having just add to the charm. I don’t care if everything doesn’t work right away. I enjoy lemmy because it is open source.
You should be able to comment and vote directly on the post. You don’t need to open it your home lemy server
It looks like a lot of new communities are popping up on Lemmy world so people might be joining it to post in one of the new communities.
I am with you 100%. Even though there is a learning curve, it’s not too bad. If the process gets simplified I think it might take off more. I forgot all about voat. I remember when the fatpeoplehate subreddit got banned they all went there.
