Sorry, I’m currently one of those dudes who doesn’t have a romantic partner and doesn’t live what others would call a “fulfilling life”. I haven’t fucking decided that Andrew Tate or any of a thousand others are the guiding star of my life, nor do I feel I ever will. This idea of “society’s to blame for incels” is pretty bad even on its face - most of these guys are told by these influencers (or their cultists) that they deserve not only a happy, prosperous life, but they shouldn’t even have to actively work for it. According to this philosophy, they shouldn’t have to go out and actively seek romance, women should be flocking to them in droves. As this does not happen, something must be fundamentally wrong with society - which is why a lot of these types also wind up spouting fascist rhetoric, and eventually fall into white supremacist pablum.
The world came together in WWII and decided that Nazis didn’t deserve a place at the table. There’s a difference between “let’s decide whose economic policy is more useful now” and “hey I want everyone to have a nice life and these guys think a large chunk of the world doesn’t deserve to live at all.”
The issue is that this might not matter much in the short run anyway. Democrats have been playing well at the national level, sure, but they don’t seem to notice that Republicans have figured out that state sovereignty means they can just have fascist fiefdoms rather than coast-to-coast national-level fascism. I don’t see Biden or Harris putting their foot down on a state if shit gets real bad - hell, Florida literally passed a law allowing CPS to take kids from out-of-state parents and nobody at the national level so much as said boo about it.
Finally managed to scrape people together to run Throne and get Wish Ender!
