Theoretically, you can basically do this for any game (or similar software) that primarily runs on your computer, but connects up to a server for various purposes. If you know what information your game sends up, and what the server sends down, it’s entirely possible to create an alternative server that sends down the right information, along with some method of redirecting the game to your new server.

The biggest examples would be things like wiimmfi or pokemon event distribution servers

I love how to them trump supporters are both incredibly stupid morons who will believe anything without a lick of thought, and the most insidious, forward thinking machivellian schemers on the planet.

Hardee’s/Carl’s Jr is probably my favorite, though I’m not much of a fast food burger guy. I find that they tend to have a low value/cost ratio as soon as you move beyond the bare minimum 99¢ burgers. To that end, I’m a big taco bell fan. I feel like my money just goes way further on their menu than other places. The crunchwrap supreme is one of the vanishingly few “premium” menu items at a fast food place that’s still under $5 straight up, no “pick 2”, no limited time. They also blow everyone else out with their rotating menu items.

If you open that thread, your brain will be forcibly deprived of a comment you were going to make somewhere else on the internet

I like that it’s actually chill here, and not that “chill, until someone has a disagreement and we need to defederate this instant” that I’ve encountered elsewhere. As has been said, having lolis acts as a forcefield against a certain breed of obnoxious, censorious, dimwits who do nothing but moralize.

While I do see concerns with digging up deleted comments as a common practice, I don’t really see it as much of an issue so long as it’s kept to ultimately trivial stuff like this, especially considering that it’s basically second nature for people to screenshot moronic posts so they can put the stupidity on display when belligerent trolls realize they’re not winning. I see it on all platforms, Twitter especially, and on reddit it was pretty common to just outright say exactly what people deleted.

Literally what prompted me to make an account here. Would definitely rather be on an instance where they aren’t just doing a reddit% speedrun of terrible moderation
