Vundabar is one my favorite indie bands. I love their new stuff, but I’d give the album Gawk a try first.

What I do is open up a window and get it all set up at the beginning of my day, and then I tell myself some number of hours in advanced that I’m going to go just 20 minutes of that work. So it tricks my brain because its already set up and ready to go, its so far in like 6 hours so I can relax for now, and when the time comes its been on my radar for so long it feels like I can’t just not do it at that point and its only 20 minutes I’ll have to slog through. By the time the 20 minutes is up I’m already in the swing and got momentum going so I then don’t stop.

Normally when I see a post I don’t care about I just keep scrolling. I respect that you went out of your way to let random strangers know you’re gonna keep scrolling lol

Java in a large way has been eclipsed by most other languages, and developers kind of have a way of making fun of old technologies, like a lot of the same jokes are made about PHP which is still very popular but outdated. In reality Java is also still incredibly popular and knowing it is certainly a benefit. It’s just a collective joke.

Absolutely my first job was fast food, and I had no clue the level of entitlement of some people. Some people treat fast food employees like they’re not even people.
