Luke had to actually train and failed when he fought his main, more experienced villain for the first time. Then he went back and did more training off screen. I think that makes him less a Mary Sue. He’s definitely whiny, though.

I used so much printer paper and ink printing a bunch of those out. They were indeed saviors. Also another great example, along with open source, of people helping each other out for free, and beyond their local tribe, too.

I really doubt he torpedoed their careers. The joke was no worse than lots of jokes Trump has made, such as about Nancy Pelosi’s husband. If the partnership ends, it’s because of Jack Black, not because of people clamoring for them to stop touring.

I’m sure this is a joke, but just in case, try to remember there are lots of Jewish people against Zionism and lots of gentiles for it. Try to remember that.

Tbh I’m surprised this hasn’t happened sooner to him or the Supreme Court. Not that I endorse violence, I’m just kind of surprised considering all the violence the right wing has perpetrated up to now. It’s really a last resort for everyone else.

So in this case Amex is a person’s name and not a portmanteau of American Express?

It would be a good idea, but historically centrist liberals will team up with conservatives to stop the left before the opposite. Let’s see what happens in France.

Let’s just all team up together, pool our issues and grievances as a group, and then have one person represent us to the compamy presenting our issues as some sort of united front. You know, so we could increase our bargaining power as some sort of collective.

We’re geniuses. No one has ever thought of this before.

Yup they’re going to try to rally around this. His stupid little fist thing he was doing while the secret service was around him is scary. It’s plays right into the fascist playbook and his narrative as a victim/brave knight enduring arrows for his common people. I’m sad to say this, but it probably would’ve been better for democracy if they had succeeded. I think he would be easier to handle as a martyr than this tough guy act he’s going to assume after this 😩
