Just as with Mastodon / Twitter, the services may look very similar but what many fail to grasp immediately is the culture is different (in a very good way!).

Part of the reason I use journalling is for self therapy (it’s honestly better than actual therapy in my experience), so no I don’t hold back. I literally just write about whatever I feel like at the time.

It’s very freeing, especially to an anxious mind like mine!

I couldn’t agree with you more, I absolutely loved the first season. Brilliant acting, perfect pacing and all around just one of the best science fiction shows of recent years.

I’ve been here for 7 days now. I’m not new to the fediverse but am new to Lemmy. So far I’m loving it, it’s great to finally see a viable Reddit alternative gain some traction.

Mastodon is also seeing another big surge of new accounts. Kinda feels like a (social media) revolution is afoot.

Oh, this may finally be my time to delve into Dark Souls. I’ve been meaning to try it since the first game released but keep getting distracted.

Is it worth getting them all and playing from the first or is one generally thought of as better than the others?
