There is a set process. Cases do not simply go directly before The supreme Court.
They have to first go through the appropriate venue in whatever jurisdiction they originate in and go through trial and then after that if the results of that trial are not satisfactory then they can be appealed which would mean they would then go to a district court and then if they’re not satisfied with that then they can petition the supreme Court to review the appellate Court’s decision.
You’re talking years and millions of dollars worth of lawyer fees for each case. Anyone with a drop of sense will attempt to settle the case long before it reaches the supreme court.
While I definitely understand your stance and your disenfranchisement with the American political system, as of right now, there are still functioning sections of the American government
For me it’s kind of like I’ll put down an album and it’s mostly forgettable crap right? I mean the sixties and seventies put out a lot of good music but they also put out a lot of junk.
But then in the midst of all of this junk all of a sudden a song will come on and it catches your attention and forces you to listen to it and it is so compelling and captivating that you can’t help but love it.
And right now it’s about one out of every 10 random albums has a song like that, but I love finding them.
I mean the entire purpose of a dei group in a company is to make sure that the company isn’t doing things that will get them fucking sued into the ground, like choosing to only hire young white males for instance.
If they want to disband this group fine, just that’s going to be exhibit A in all of the lawsuits.
I know I could do it, but I also know that that burger is going to sit in my stomach like a 10 lb fucking weight for the next 5 days.
No fucking way would I eat that
Well shit. I just got a new high spec laptop with the 13950hx chip.
In the last year or so I’ve gotten into vinyl records, cheap weird ones from thrift stores and stuff I’d never be exposed to in my normal searches.
So much terrible music but every once in a while I’ll find a gem of a song that I never would have ever heard otherwise, like the Gypsy Kings Volare:

I said all of that to say, I have more music to dig through than I can believe. It takes an intentional act of will to put an album onto the player and play it. I’m lucky to get to listen to 1 album a week if that.
I think you missed my point. I am in favor of steam and valve by far, my quibble is with the idea that anyone can sell 100,000 copies of a $15 game.
For every Stardew Valley there are thousands of other games no one has ever heard of and that almost no one bought.
By all means though, make great games. I’ll be buying them on steam.
