The one biggest thing I did that really improved my reception recently was buying a second dongle (Sonoff, they’re cheap on AliExpress and the newest version is pretty much the same hardware as a SkyConnect) and converting it to a router.

I have a few plugs that work as routers, but having a dedicated device with a legit antenna really stabilized everything.

Yep! I’ve got a few Sonoff plugs around the house that work quite well, although flashing a coordinator dongle to router firmware really tied everything together.

There are a few Old Spice variants that I think are a bit fruit-forward and fresh and designed for men.

I’ve never liked the super cologney scents - I like smelling sweet, so Fiji is a good one for me. Smells tropical and a bit fruity.

I also liked Wolfthorne, which is super fruit forward. I actually got a pack of that because some super insecure dude was complaining about it in the reviews.

Outside of that, Stone from Henry’s is another fave of mine. Not fruit, but it’s light and I think anyone could wear it. Fig as well, but that’s more of a winter deodorant because I find myself needing to reapply, but it smells awesome.

Crazy that it’s so low. I’d assume people who commute to work waste like an hour minimum going to and from work, so 1/9th of their work day is just unpaid “work” as far as I’m concerned.

That’s ignoring all the benefits in comfort at home. I’m surprised it’s just 8%.

How would this stop anything, though? Most of the scam sites are one-off things and people call the numbers and are redirected to otherwise legit screen-sharing software to be scammed.

I can’t think of a single specific site that any government could block to stop scams. This shit is just bound to be abused.

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic, but the recent promotion of paid accounts has created a hostile environment and a wild spread of misinformation on just about any possible post. Staying on a broken platform and continuing to participate on it is extremely undesirable, especially when the owner is outright hostile to the idea that he’s made the platform worse.

I suspect the many people fleeing from Reddit/Spez could commiserate over that notion.

I also disagree that the system Musk has created is “free speech”, considering people who don’t pay are drowned out by those who do.

Yep, moved from Edge to Firefox on all but my Windows Tablet. Only reason I’m holding out on the tablet is because the battery enhancements of Edge are too much to pass up on the device. Phone and PC though, straight to Firefox.

Yep. If the Internet Archive goes down, piracy is going to be the last bastion of preservation for the masses. It’s incredibly fucked up. The whole copyright system is incredibly fucked up.

I suspect after the book loss, copyright lawyers for huge media industries all over the place are drooling over potential earnings.

Makes me feel angry and helpless, honestly. The people in that industry know damn well a rip of an old record isn’t the same as a sanitized digital file, but they don’t care about preserving shit as much as squeezing a few extra bucks from the super fans and history buffs who may enjoy those files.

For real though, you don’t plant your own tomatoes to save money, you plant your own tomatoes because your crop is going to taste so good that you’ll be chasing that flavor any time you’re stuck buying them from the store. Just so far beyond storebought.

It’s the one crop I keep coming back to every year - the effort is worth it.

I always leave them in because pulling them out is more trouble than it’s worth. I’m lazy as hell, but I’m also cooking for just my wife and I.

Literally worst case nobody’s going to crack a tooth or something. They get a spoonful of soup with a big leaf in it and they just put the leaf aside.
