I finished TotK with 100% shrines and lightroots, and have been scrambeling to find further entertainment on the switch after that. I’ve done a few offline rounds of Smash Bros but I’m currently just in a post depression of beating a game which I consider to be nearly perfect.
I’ve jumped back on my PC and half-heartedly started a new game of Satisfactory, which I could see myself dumping a few more hours into.
Oh, I love this. Watched it a lot back when it was originally posted. “Genuine dick sucker” is just impressive as an insult when in desperation. The “haha I’m adding this guy to friends” has stuck with me as a response when teammates or opponents in games become excessively angry.

DaVinci Resolve was the last app to really surprise me. It’s a fantastic app for video editing with a ton of functionality. Most of the paid functions seem like composite fuctions of the free functions or overly professional tools, but for getting started with simple 2D- or 3D-animations or short film editing, it’s beyond amazing.
Kerbal Space Program (not 2) has around 300 hours on my steam account. I have played around equally much on another account. KSP2 is painful to see perform so badly.

I got all the shrines and all light roots. Then I started messing around with building combat vehicles to mess with bokoblins. I’m not a big side quester or story liner, so I haven’t done a lot of them.
I got bored at some point since the objectives were completed. It’s sad, but a game is over when it’s over. While it’s possible to continue through speed running or going real 100%, it’s fine to just be done and move on to another game.
I agree. TotK is probably one of the few games I consider to be almost perfect. Hogwarts Legacy was also great, and I’m currently hyped for Starfield (hoping it lives up to the hype).
The biggest downer of the year is for me Kerbal Space Program 2, as the early access has been extremely bad in performance and low on content with no big content updates in the forseeable future.
