Seems like a fairly harsh application of a fairly inconsequential rule.

Sure give her a warning or something but to just send her home?

I think that’s the joke.

malls were a place to just exist

Not really. Malls existed because enough of the people who went there were spending enough money to make them profitable.

Yes it was permissible to go to a mall and not spend any money, and a lot of people did just that, but that doesn’t mean malls did not require most people to be spending money.

This is the answer.

A cheap / half assed conversion would be a ghetto. It would be awful.

Sanitation would be a huge problem also. In an apartment you have access to air from the outside. Imagine everyone living in a box in the same enclosed space. Yes I understand malls have gargantuan (and expensive) air conditioning systems. It would still stink.

Not to mention the money. Even a derelict mall is still worth many millions of dollars. You have to buy or lease the building from them.

You’d be much better off creating a walkable community of low-cost housing in a low-density semi-rural area.

This article is bullshit.

Republicans don’t actually think that.

I also don’t know anything about the guy other than what I’ve heard on podcasts and so on in the last 24 hours.

That said, he does seem to have a well established ability to woo voters from further into the conservative end of the spectrum than other progressives.

For example, as @Sterile_Technique@Sterile_Technique@lemmy.world said, “Gun owner, hunter, and veteran: understands guns. Supports gun control.”

He also really cut through with the “creepy & weird” thing. Listening to the way he talks, and the way he frames things, he seems to have an ability to speak to people in a way that resonates with them.

No one is saying it is their job.

Merely that using a TLD like .internal requires some consideration regarding ssl certificates.

My set up is similar to this but I’m using wildcards.

So all my containers are on 10.0.0.0/8, and public dns server resolves *.sub.domain.com to 10.0.0.2, which is a reverse proxy for the containers.

Yeah it’s pretty obvious to everyone that it’s all or bust for trump. He’s desperate. Nothing to lose.

They’re already strategising how to steal the election. They’re already on record saying they know exactly who to call when it’s time to validate the results from each state.
