Try the Jerboa app! I haven’t had any problems with it at all (the Mlem app is for ios). You can use the direct link to the Google Play store (in green below app description) off the lemmy app page linked below. It’s official and everything. I like it much better than the browser version. 😁

So, the only way to keep a bad actor registered in your instance from flaming in another one would be to revoke their account completely, then?
Other servers probably need to be able to block individual users from posting anywhere on their instance if we don’t want to end up as mostly disfederated, isolated servers.
There are apps for Lemmy! I’m finding the app much nicer to use on my phone than accessing lemmy thru a browser, which is what I’m guessing you’re doing based on your description of using a “shortcut.”
