You can’t fault them for not giving it a fair chance.

I played for about 25 hours before I gave up.

Those 25 hours were mostly me waiting for the moment when it would finally get better. The moment never arrived.

I’m happy to stay on the climate doomed Earth while you can take my spot on Mars.

The biggest problem I have with LEDs is they’re supposed to last forever yet mine die every few months.

I guess you’re right, we need to actually post content for others to join. It’s tough because I don’t necessarily have anything to post right now, but it was nice to scroll through the subreddit to find new things in the personal finance topics.

Critic score or audience score? Because boy, there’s a difference

Just wait 10-20 years. It seems what’s acceptable to say changes all the time.

20 years ago “queer” was offensive.

Umm, anything you access on the Internet has to know your IP address, that’s how the Internet works. Whether or not they choose to keep the logs is a different matter.

I gave Starfield a fair chance, I played it for 20 hours, patiently waiting on why it deserved an “8.4” rating from critics. But it never delivered. The gameplay is a copy of Fallout 4, the user interface is a mess (they’ve gone backwards somehow) and the world is just so generic and uninspiring that I couldn’t bear one more minute of it.

I can see why it’s got a 5.5 from real players.

On a side note, the gaming reviews now mirror Rotten tomatoes. What the professional paid “critics” love, doesn’t necessarily mean the players do, and vice versa. The real players always give a more fair rating.

Fuck YouTube shorts. It’s infuriating that YouTube doesn’t provide us an option to remove all traces of that fuckin cancer from the platform.
