Stop the bo4 slander already, could have been the best Zombies in the series, but it’s a close second behind bo3, due to nostalgia reasons and zombie chronicles.

Absolutely beautifully detailed maps, easy to get into, with challenging but super interesting and well made easter eggs.

We didn’t appreciate what we had back then, but everything we got after was a spit to the face. Looking back at it now, it’s an absolute gem. Fuck we even got difficulty levels, a new mode, and even more challenges with gauntlets. Nah fuck what I said, it takes the crown.

Additionally what was rumored for year2. 4 additional maps, zombie chronicles 2 and the return of grief. It’s too bad all of that got scrapped. It would’ve made it’s lead only bigger

Honestly I would say the opposite, the hate was kinda warranted back in the days. The game crashed a lot and the battle pass system that wasn’t progressable when playing zombie for like the first half(?) of the cycle was kind of a joke. Although it is also to blame partly on the community, for being simple-minded and not accepting changes like the perks. Although even that, was understandable in the beginning. But with the semi-jugg added later, speed cola as a bonus for having all perks, and double tap available through multiple pap’ing was nice additions and really you don’t miss much when playing now and you got used to it.

On top, the variety for perks is just fantastic to have. If you’ve gotten used to it, it does suck hopping back into bo3 and having to get the at least 3 crunch perks simply because you have to.

On bo4 there might be perks you run all the time because they suit your play style but there’s so much that I see different people playing. For example I see people swear on dying wish while personally that isn’t good for me at all. There’s just so much you can do with the system and it’s great.

If the game released in it’s final state now it would be like literally the best thing to happen to zombies.

I wish we’d have such high quality maps again

I had a conversation with a coworker recently and we got to the topic of working out, and he told he’s working out two times a day. He goes to the gym before and after work.

I asked him why the hell he would go twice, like that’s just ridiculous and he said well he was depressed, and started working out. Everyone said it’d help with the depression, but it helped only a bit. So he figured well maybe he has to go even more.

It’s absolutely ridiculous imo, but… whatever helps one I guess

Very interesting video, thanks for sharing. Although I want to watch it from start to end now, what’s the point you’re trying to show with the timestamp here?

Even though I love bo4, I have to give that to SOE personally, although I played it quite a bit less I think. But the vibe, the atmosphere, the music are phenomenal on SOE imo. IX is a close second.

Also I can’t stop the feeling the map is missing a decent wonder weapon. The scorpion thingie is cool, but compared to the AS? And even more compared to like the other bo4 wonder weapons, it kinda lacks

Bo4 is the best Zombies game

And it would’ve been even better if Activision wouldn’t have fucked Treyarch over, this bad. Letting Blundells plans with chaos unfold, getting a grief mode, and whatever else was planned. It just sucks all of that got scrapped. Chaos went so goddamn hard, especially the massive cliffhanger in AE. I’m bummed I won’t ever get to see more, but I’m least never ever again giving Activision any money for cod

The only thing that’s really blown me recently was Returnal. That gameplay was definitely different than anything I’ve experienced before, just in terms of gameplay, and using all kinds of new stuff like fast load times, amazing haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. All of that made me say that this is a game that makes you feel like you finally arrived in a new generation of gaming. It’s just sad no other game really matches that feeling, apart from graphical improvements.

Mhhh that makes sense, for me it was more or less the other way around, but I can totally understand.

SoE was a wild starter map tho

To bring another opinion to all the other comments, each week I’m trying to go into the office more often than I already do (2-3/5 times per week currently) which I feel is not much, but after reading some comments, you guys must think I’m a maniac already lol.

Now why would someone do that? First, I got a new job like half a year ago and I absolutely love it. First of all, my current commute time is around 25 minutes, door to door, in clean public transportation. Second, we got free water, Softdrinks, Coffee, Snacks, even fruits and cereal in the office. So no matter what I need to energize, it’s there. At home, I usually don’t. Or I do, but still, it’s better to have ‘free’ you know?

Also, I love my colleagues. They’re very young on average, incredibly skilled and highly intelligent. Also from many different countries. It’s always fun talking to them and getting different insights on all kinds of things. We also usually take smaller breaks to play table tennis or table football.

Home office is great too, for days I really need to focus or have a lot of meetings. Or have private appointments, deliveries, or whatever. I can also take Homeoffice whenever I want and no one cares at all.

But still, it gets boring and lonely. Being in the office is great for my social factor and currently feels more like going to see friends, rather than working.
