Wow… If that was an attempt at finessing DRS then Alonso was worse than Mazepin in that moment.

Hamilton was fully loaded in a high speed right when he had to react. And he could react. Entire car lengths between them, hours to react to the car in front, Alonso crossing the DRS line alone, an entire car length goes by, and then Hamilton.

I’ve seen so many DRS shenanigans, this was the worst. Alonso is so good though.

You hear it mentioned sometimes, that this is probably the friendliest grid in history. I think the modern path to f1 helps drivers feel a little camaraderie even if they’re rivals on the track. And the way you conduct yourself for media feels more professional.

I’m curious if the content was switched after comments were made? Like it’s just some research that uses mobile data to show likely interactions, but most comments are rebutting things that were never said and doesn’t seem to be in the PDF, ie, “these places aren’t classy.”

You can tell this game is beloved. I don’t think I’ve seen this many bugs talked about as funny / cute quirks when they’re just… bugs. It isn’t cats getting drunk in DF, it’s a memory issue that affects your save the longer you play.

It reinforces the idea that the devs are treating players right and making a game that people want to succeed.

I honestly answer surveys and have done so for a decade. YouTube doesn’t give me long ads. I can watch hours of YouTube without long, annoying ads. It’s a combination of choosing the correct content (nobody forces anyone to watch aggressively monetized content) and prioritizing results over ego (honestly answering the surveys vs lying on surveys to stick it to Google.)

I don’t care about users that make fragmented, entitled arguments, or who go out of their way to destroy their own UX by trying to sabotage systems. Until we nationalize YouTube and use taxes to fund hosting and moderation, YouTube is pretty great all things considered.

Just my own unpopular opinion.

Journalists being killed almost certainly refers to journalists actively reporting on the war, embedded in units, the ones with passes. They are actively linked to orgs so when they die they’re accounted for as a killed journalist.

I think including every single death of a civilian who happened to be a journalist but wasn’t working as one would be too literal an interpretation.

How long are the ads for you?

Here’s a decently monetized channel: https://youtu.be/RQYuyHNLPTQ?si=hyPgA09h5nXISkvy

I got one 15s unskippable, one skippable after 5s.

Here’s a corp channel: https://youtu.be/ikcfhhqdDYI?si=b-mIAY34UfEqZ_AQ

First time I got one 15s unskippable, next time one skippable after 5s.

If I watch things on a friend’s account the ads get much longer.
