I feel like that entirely depends on the subreddits you’re subscribed to. For me I have an /r/WTF post at 13, and then not another default sub until… an /r/AdviceAnimals post at 47.
While I love Lemmy and will continue to contribute to it. My reddit experience feels very much the same as it always has. The key was to abandon most of the large subs a long time ago.
Good for you! I recently changed jobs to a more stable position after asking for years to be put on full time staff at my old one. Once they filled a position with an outside hire instead of bringing me on full time, I knew it was the end of the road. Now I get paid almost twice as much plus amazing benefits to do about half the work.
Break up all the tech monopolies!
It was over a long time ago for me when I realized that most AAA games were all the same. Might as well wait until they’re $20 anyway.
You’re gonna get hop ons!
No, I actually feel significantly less connected. I realize that’s because most of the small, niche subreddits had great conversations and in time Lemmy should catch up. But at this point? No. It’s not even close.
Maybe if you spent most of your time on reddit in the large, or default subs you’ll feel less connected, but when it came to the specific subreddits, Lemmy can’t hold a candle to it. Right now.
It really sucks there are still places that test for THC. My state banned most pre-emolyment testing, hopefully that’s in the cards for everyone in the future.
I use a dry herb vape most of the time. I have an Arizer EQ for my daily home use. Arizer Air 2 for longer handheld sessions. And an XMax V3 Pro for short on the go use. I’ll occasionally smoke a joint, especially if it’s infused with something but for the most part I stopped combusting in 2018.
