I’ve tried a bunch of times, searching for “!songaweek@lemmy.world” in communities, with ‘all’ selected. Pretty consistently nothing for me. Does it come up for you?

Repeated searching isn’t helping, and their webserver is working at https://lemmy.world/c/songaweek. There are other lemmy.world communities showing up in my feed. Hmmm

Tried here and that didn’t get any results either. Nor do I get any results for !memes@lemmy.world “https://lemmy.ml/search?q=!memes%40lemmy.world&type=Communities” which is weird since I see those posts on my lemmy.ml feed.

You mean it works for you with “!songaweek@lemmy.world”? For me the url works but the ! address does not. If the ! address searching is broken, isn’t that a problem?

I miss RPAN. Though there’s an argument to be made that such a thing should really be a different app altogether and it was shoehorned into reddit. I know owncast exists but haven’t gotten around to exploring it yet.
