That’s exactly my point. We are not a democracy where every decision is put to a poll (especially not a poll made by some private group).

We are a representative republic where we elect leaders who are trusted to make decisions on policy in accordance to their beliefs and stated policy positions when they were elected.

If you think we live in an absolute democracy, that’s pretty bold.

Yeah, because foreign policy decisions should definitely be made based on poll numbers.

I don’t like our unconditional support of Israel, but this is a bad take.

Most of the Marvel shows that were good (not saying they all were) were only really good the first season. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage… Even Loki. Second seasons were ok-to-poor where the first seasons were all really strong.

Not sure what you’re on about.

I don’t think the article claims “no CGI” and certainly doesn’t claim to be straight-out-of-camera with no post processing. It’s about practical sets, which they do use. Not the mostly-green-screen or The Volume virtual sets that many shows use now

What is the weather like where you are? It would be brutal to have to use this on a regular basis in cold, rainy, or even very hot weather.

Even a small car would give you so much more capability and you could use it no matter the weather.

Fun toy, but doesn’t seem like a car replacement

Physical when possible. Little downside and some potential resale value down the line. Faster installs, even accounting for updates. Sometimes less space taken up on a device that should really have more than it does.

Until they start discounting digital over physical, why wouldn’t you?

Most of the more advanced democracies have rules about not allowing reporting of results until polls are closed for a reason. Many don’t even allow reporting until official results are released. Informal exit polls and advanced opinion polls are bad enough.

The idea is for people to vote for who they think will be the best, not vote for who send to be doing well or poorly up to that point

I stand corrected. I still don’t think it affects range much

I don’t think so. That’s just we all call it

Losing range has way more to do with speed than AC or an extra passenger. Taking side roads going 40 mph will give me a massive range boost vs the highway going 70-75 mph (2011 Leaf with “82 miles” range on the fully charged GOM).

I barely notice a difference with extra passengers and weight (which makes sense since an extra passenger adds about 0.5% to the cars weight.

And running heat kills battery much more than AC. AC will impact it a bit, but usually only about 5% in my estimation
