Hi I’m Lala! Hobby artist/law grad

Direct message

Ooooor this person is just terrible at cutting bangs.

I get that this is probably a fake scenario for a joke but it’s not even particularly funny? What’s the punchline anyway, “haha I fucked up my kids hair and now it looks like shit lol lol”? Peak boomer humor.

Yeah this kind of shit here is why I do not regret leaving. My oldest reddit account is from back when Bush was still president and Idgaf anymore, it’s dead to me now. I’m looking forward to seeing kbin flourish instead.

The safety of our employees is a top priority, and the Postal Service has implemented a national Heat Illness Prevention Program (HIPP) for all employees," USPS said in a statement.

Why do they not have air conditioning in their vehicles then? It’s absurd that they don’t, even without life threatening heat waves.

Oof yeah, damn. Or having the vessel slowly fill up with water or something. Honestly any of the possible death scenarios sound terrifying, hopefully it wasn’t prolonged suffering.

I stopped sometime in mid-June when the blackouts first started. I only look at Reddit now if someone links a post to me, but I no longer mindlessly browse it for hours a day.

My 8 year old has been watching Demon Slayer and loving it. But she had a “gateway show” to get into that – InuYasha. She saw me watching InuYasha and started watching it with me and then became addicted to that. I think that set the bar for what kind of anime she likes, , and so watching Demon Slayer seemed like some kind of natural progression. Anyway, it really depends on the kid, but if they can watch cartoon violence and not get freaked out, then it should be fine.

Guillermo Sohnlein said the group may have extended their life support supplies by “relaxing as much as possible.”

Ah yes, the sweet relaxation of slow death. Not that they would have had much time to relax anyway, if the debris field is the remains of their vessel.

It’s fascinating to see how a comic from 1912 still holds up today. Also I didn’t know they had ‘colored moving pictures’ that early, I always thought Wizard of Oz was the first one in 1939. Turns out 1908 was the year the first color film came out. Neat!
