hoping this catches on, pretty please CA…

i like the fact that the money can only go into maintaining the speed cameras or into making the road safer. those are both things desperately needed, especially in LA.

why not? CA has struggled with record levels of traffic injury and death in recent years.

Because in the end, matures like these don’t actually reduce the speeding or accidents. The cases often get caught up in court and eventually dismissed or fines reduced. In the end, it costs the tax payers more $ on both ends and all the areas needed were speed bumps.
