alright, fresh account, time to shit up the mega with some more stuff i assume only i care about
i prefer sonic adventure’s gameplay to sonic adventure 2 but i prefer 2’s story if i’m being honest. shadow being evil because he cared too much is the exact shit i live for
SA2 is like a movie in the best way, much better paced and cinematic than 1, honestly some of the peakest Sonic.
That being said I really liked Station Square in SA1 and all the npcs and the story with Tikal and Chaos.
SA2 is the only time the Sonic games ever really approached a good viddy game story. Respect the attempt in SA1, but between the voice direction, the script and the awkwardly animated cutscenes it just does not fly.
SA2 has dogshit mocap and poor VO again, but the cutscenes have a lil flair and charm to em. It’s a cute lil narrative.
sonic adventure 1 is a b-movie and sonic adventure 2 is the fast and the furious: tokyo drift. i refuse to explain
fantasizing about sonic adventure 3… sonic heroes was so damn stinky. why did they have to do that
Nuh uhh. The chaos were great. The rest of the games were cool too, but like… Chaos were one of those life experiences ranking among having a child (probably? Idk - I don’t have a child) in terms of importance. Like… How is any video game experience supposed to try to compete?
