maybe to attract new players who potentially wouldn’t of picked it up if it was titled as a sequel to two games they hadn’t played?
But it picks up Shadow’s story from Shadow 05, so I don’t think that’s true.
What no, does it really? Maria doesn’t exist anymore and Shadow works for GUN now which I thought was because it’s a new thing. Also if it does, the entire Soleanna storyline creates huge plotholes with regard to Shadow waking up thanks to Eggman… It also rewrites Blaze’s backstory completely just for the lulz.
