Everything’s technically a rental. Nothing lasts forever. That console probably will stop working eventually.

Physical>emulation/backups>digital purchase.

This should be the path always in order to get games, it is for me.

Physical isn’t much good if you can’t pop it in and play, lots of games need day one updates to be playable.
