I’m really curious if there’s context for this
It’s likely a restaurant or other retail business. You need to go dump the trash, but there could be someone waiting to get inside to rob it. I haven’t worked in such a place that didn’t have these warnings on the back door.
Damn. I was thinking this was an external door at some Antarctic research station since the weather there can get really harsh but I suppose just opening the door wouldn’t be actually that dangerous.
I’m thinking it’s a really bad neighborhood. Or maybe there’s a literal jungle out there and tigers will get ya.
Land of the free, home of the brave.
But don’t go outside at night it’s too scary.
It’s weird, but not as exciting as you might think. It’s been a while since I looked into it, but the gist is: This sign is from a taco bell in a high-crime area where robberies are common. People wait for the door to open then force their way in and rob the place at night. If you google the words on the sign you can find out where exactly.
This would make me want to open it for sure
Food service door
Is this door in the danger zone?
No, it’s just in a restaurant. More than likely the employees roll their eyes as they open it after dark to take out the trash, because the options are walk 3/4 of a mile around the strip mall with 100lbs of trash or open the door and put it in the dumpster 3 feet from the door.
Gotta love running that bag full of money to the bank at the end of the night. They know you’ve got it, too. They know exactly when to expect the manager to leave for the bank. Late at night, after close, in some shit neighborhood.
That’s how you get this door.
