I like it over here. I haven’t seen anyone say, “This!” “Red flag” “onions man” or any of that karma farming bullshit.

I totally agree. This was my biggest pet peeve. I love the evil corporate machine that is the NFL. Every single post on r/nfl immediately turned into an inside meme joke or puns, or quoting a meme or first to comment to start a running joke. Never anything about the actual post. Come to think of it, r/politics was pretty bad too. Post is about traitor orange and all the comments are bashing him with dumbass pun nicknames. We get it, he’s everything wrong with humanity and he’s the dumbest criminal in the history of criminals. Bring some relevancy to the conversation ffs. Sorry for the rant, I just smoked.

Nfl sub was fun but really hard to engage. I felt that actual discussion was frowned upon ftmp.

Politics was weird too, i think most people didn’t wanna say what they actually felt out of some type of fear and so ended up with one liners, plus it’s hard to make actual points on something largely outside your control, and all you can muster is some vague thing that someone has already said.
