Black holes are not merely dense objects, the word hole may actually be a slightly better description. This chart oversimplifies stuff and is quite lame.
The reason why medieval stained glass windows are thicker on the bottom is a deliberate choice to make the party which would bear the weight of the windows stronger.
Could you give sources for each claim? Otherwise I just have to trust you, instead of the original place I heard the myth. Not much more reliable.
