Authoritarianism is a loser ideology.

“As an authoritarian, I like having to not think about things. Hierarchy is natural and the only way everything works. This makes it easy to know what’s best. Details are for the lower class of person, the number nerds who work for the rest of us. My favorite part of authoritarianism is knowing that only the strongest survive and following the strongest so I will survive too. It makes knowing how things work so easy!”

This might be the most “sub” vibe I’ve ever read.

Also interesting that everyone I’ve ever met that is a fan of Andrew Tate wears wife beaters because they dress for the job they want. Also they seem like they either have meth or know where to get it.

I’m not a fan of Andrew Tate, but we really got to lay off the hate on wife beaters. Tank tops are real comfy yall.

I demand that any man that wants to use a tank top be forced by law to show mid riff, navel and all.

Going to be honest my friend, it’s been awhile and i’ve gained a bit of weight since I bought some of these tanks tops. I am way ahead of you on that one.

Men’s tank tops never feel loose enough to me. I like tank tops women wear with spaghetti straps, but I don’t think I’d like my look if I wore them.

The arc of his popularity has been an interesting thing to watch. Many of the things he does seem childlike in nature, almost like a lot of maturity is just missing

Remember that Twilight Zone episode where everyone is constantly trying to please this omnipotent child?

That’s our billionaire class.

Personally I feel lemmy should ban, or at least mandate they are nsfw screen shots originating from that cesspool.

Remember people when the viewing stops, that awful CEO can go fuck himself.

I don’t fault him at all. If you’re in the entertainment industry (and want to stay in it), a Twitter presence is pretty much required. Online posting isn’t just a hobby, it’s part of your job, and Twitter is where the audience is.

It is basically impossible at this point to know. Elon loves giving people who give him shit blue check marks because he thinks it’s an insult to them.

Since Twitter is a pile of shit let me link a photo of this tweet today.

Ah. It was a year and a half ago. And you’ll notice the account is no longer verified.

That being said fuck Twitter. Not just since Muskrat took over, fuck it for as long as it has existed and been a blight on society.

Centralization sucks. I know a lot of people who are currently dropping BlueSky and migrating back to Twitter because it was just too much of a loss for them unfortunately.

Edit:

Can’t be bothered responding to each post individually so I’ll put this here.

First off. Mastadon isn’t that great of an experience. There’s a reason it’s not even at half the amount of users it started with. The devs don’t listen to feedback and at the current time attempting to get the average person on there is a struggle.

Second off. There are people who use twitter for professional purposes. There’s also a lot of companies that refuse to drop the platform which means people collaborating or coordinating with them end up using it for that purpose too. A lot of people and groups with large followings still find moving off the platform too risky. I’m not among those groups but you’re being a bit ignorant if you think they don’t exist or that they don’t matter.
