Probably related to WB wanting to sell their gaming division.

They forced the developers to make this shit. Everything and everyone leading up to the release told them it was DOA. This is 100% on poor leadership making bad decisions and not reversing course at any of the warning signs… Yet the leaders will stay and the developers will suffer.

If WB really wanted to tank their game division, they would do what they did with movies and start cancelling almost finished projects for a tax write off

Since we’re making unfounded, trash statements.

You’re dumb.

Fuck outta here with that astroturfing, neckbeard, neet shit.

How is that a trash statement? They helped with some of the writing and dialogue which was shit. Idc about the other stuff but if you’re going to go to a consulting agency then go with one that’s good and knows what they are doing. Yeah WB wrote some stuff too which makes them just as guilty.

It’s like hiring John Cena to act in movies he is trash and boring, why not hire someone good who knows what they’re doing

I actually don’t understand the hate Sweet Baby gets. The most I’ve been able to understand about it is that they use inclusive language or something.

Is that honestly it? Because that seems like a lot of wasted effort spent hating something pretty dang benign…

The headline kinda softens how bad it really is,

“Games revenue, under the WB Games division, dropped 41% year-over-year. Though Suicide Squad’s struggles were the main culprit, it was admittedly up against stiff competition: last year’s comparable included strong sales of Hogwarts Legacy, which launched in February of 2023 and continued to do exceedingly well throughout the year that followed. It (sold 22 million copies in 2023 alone), and has since reached 24 million.”

Capitalist pigboys: You will not own your games, we will only permit you broken, live service, microtransaction hell garbage, and you will buy it because we’ve consumed the competition.

Gamers: 🖕 Imma go mod Skyrim for the 73rd time.
