I think ancient evil very much does exist. But itās the same as modern evil. I figure it must exist, and itās the presence of this evil that has caused such a fucked up society to emerge.

I think thatās likely to happen. Once the Internet and digital media is gone the information age will become an information dark age to historians.
Depending on what happens itās entirely possible for future cultures to actively avoid another industrial revolution like ours was.
