The other domains are still online, though z-library has yet to respond
Post edited, thank you @mbt2402 for correcting me
It seems weird FBI would post misinformation regarding how “they” are spending the money
I like how one of their points of evidence is a only kinda sort of expensive camper trailer. Yeah, I’m perfectly fine with the people maintaining a public resource like that being able to go on camping trips lmao.
In my experience it’s very common for Z-Library’s domains to get seized. My password manager has like 10 different domains connected to the same zlibrary account; 9 of which doesnt work anymore.
Best place you can see the currently working domain is wikipedia.
This makes so little sense to me. One would think that an app would have a wider user base as well as being easier to take down. All they would need to do is run the app and see where it phones home to, then send a C&D to the distribution platform(s).
i remember when soap2day was a thing (it was one of the better web ones without downloading that we could easily use on the PS4 without a USB stick etc) they had soapgate.org which would give a list of the current working domains. different domains would go down but until they shut the entire thing down I never saw soapgate change
The onion link (http://zlibrary24tuxziyiyfr7zd46ytefdqbqd2axkmxm4o5374ptpc52fad.onion/) has never stopped working for me. I think it should be the most reliable way to connect to it.
i remember this from earlier in the year, so petty LOL american corporate action agency seething. the seized domain is z-lib.se, and it probably logs your ip if you visit it btw.
FBI should care more about Epstein’s friends instead of having fun with digital books
I always use the .onion domain that I find at https://lemm.ee/c/zlibrary@lemmy.ml
You can link a community for all instances by doing !zlibrary@lemmy.ml btw
or by typing [text](/c/zlibrary@lemmy.ml)
like this
