They’re getting confused. There is some weird thing where you can culture meat from yourself and eat it, and that is considered vegan, but that’s not where beyond burgers come from lol

Ngl I would try lab grown human meat. It’d be the most ethical source of meat possible since humans are the only being who would be able to unambiguously consent to donating a tissue sample for the purposes of consumption
