So far he’s proven that you can’t work with them, and that his experience doesn’t make a difference to that fact.
Yeah the statements like that made me really hate that he was winning the primary. Standing next to obama should have taught him… if you do everything they ask, strip 80% of the good things out of the bill, throw in a few favors to the republicans corporate donors. You will still get 0 republican votes, and if you somehow are able to pass it you will still be called a dictator unwilling to work with them.
In short the lesson is, dont’ try to work with them.

I just saw it on a hat and a shirt recently. Out in public. Do these people think that others are going to engage with them? Or is it just virtue-signaling to other deplorables? Do they have to explain to younger children that their shirt is a cute way of saying the word FUCK?

I think it was a Nascar race or something, and the crowd was chanting “fuck Joe Biden”, and the commentators tried to cover it by saying they were chanting “let’s go Brandon” because the driver in the lead was Brandon (something)
At a NASCAR race, a bastion of redneckery, a person on camera said Fuck Joe Biden, and the reporter said something along the lines of Let’s Go Brandon, I suppose mishearing the person in a loud venue and/or confusing it for a driver.
It stuck and Let’s go Brandon became a tongue in cheek way of voicing their displeasure with our current president.
On the other side…
Any time Biden has done anything progressive or to stymie the GoP it is his “Dark Brandon” persona that the internet created.
Basically dems flipped the meme, or at least tried to and it became a memetic way to celebrate perceived victories over the GoP, as I understand it.
He’s done a really good job of owning these attacks. I saw him drink from a dark brandon mug during a press conference recently lmao!

It is an interesting idea. I like the idea of (finally) going on the offensive, but this doesn’t really attack any GOP ideas or candidates.
I do love the idea of embracing the “let’s go brandon” slogan. I just saw some idiots with that bumper sticker the other day. I would love to see Dems take over that slogan and make it seem like all the “let’s go brandon” merchandise is actually on the side of Biden. Unfortunately I think only a small group of people (those who follow memes) really understand what the heck dark brandon even is. But at least the Dems are trying something different and trying to get ahead of certain things, rather than the usual Democrat response which is nothing.
It’s an attempt at doing exactly what Republicans do. They steal a word or phrase and change it to mean something horrible. Democrats really need.to.start playing stupid games too, unfortunately, because the country is losing hard right now.
