I realised I had become an adult when some woman told her kid “that mister” would tell him off if he didn’t behave, and gestured in my direction. I looked behind me. There was nobody there.

I had become The Mister. The stranger based punishment of exasperated mothers everywhere. Fear me, little children, and despair.

By making it utterly unaffordable.

Fortunately electric cars are coming, and none of them are cheap.

The downside is you have to explain to an entire class why you no longer deem them worthy of owning a car.

I don’t know who is using these things. If you’ve got a phone and a signal then you’ve got a shop. Go to it and buy the things you need.

Could argue here that you’re still writing CSS, just cross compiling to it from Bootstrap shortcuts.

For you the day I walked into your pub wearing a bow-tie, drank a pink, and fought a dog and lost, was the most important day of your life.

For me, it was Tuesday.

But surely if it was stored encrypted, it would still need a key to unlock that info. Which would be on your PC. And could therefore be used by anything else to unlock your data.

The only safe way would be encrypt it with a password that only you know, and you’d need to enter before getting back into the software. And there couldn’t be any “I forgot my password” function either. You lose it, the data is gone.

But what if I’m using a GameCube controller? Eh? What then?

Of course then I can’t use a shield, so I’m dead long before I get a chance to roll off anything.

Well I’m not going to disagree with your second point.

But there’s 37% of the people who still want them to rule, and pushing them under the rug doesn’t make those people just go away.

It makes those people more determined if anything, and it honestly doesn’t look like they’re far from the tipping point where a far right problem becomes a far right leadership.
