I really hope the developers weren’t thinking about this pun while developing the plot…
Considering the developers speak Japanese, I highly doubt that
Gangrene in Japanese is “eso”.
壊 (e) meaning demolish, destroy, or break.
疽 (so) meaning carbuncle.
Hold up, I just thought of Eso, a character from Jujutsu Kaisen who had an ability to rot his enemies from the inside via his blood. Could it be a pun as well?
Spoilers
Technically you don’t find out that the demon king at the beginning and ganondorf are one in the same until some time later… but it’s not really a surprise if you’ve played any other games in the series.
Yeah fair, but as you said if you know anything about Zelda at all it’s pretty obvious who the demon king looks like and is supposed to be as soon as you see him.
I’ve got the game sitting on my shelf in the box. Waiting for free time to play it. Idgaf if it’s in the first 5 minutes. I’d rather not have spoilers in post titles.
