I know this is just a joke, because any nurse knows there is more beeping when you unplug machines. The trick is to get the timing down on the silence button.

As not a nurse, I would think you’d just unplug the alarm machines first.

Tho I have been in enough hospital/clinic rooms to know y’all plug shit in wherever the hell, because there are outlets everywhere. I want my house to be like that.

And I have seen the Monty Python meaning of life so I know there are a lot of beeping things to plug in that may have alarms. You know, to make sure they are being used.

Work to save energy!

But work almost always uses energy. Be lazy and do less to save energy. A machine that beeps less does less work.

Last couple of times I was in the hospital overnight I asked for a set of earplugs. Best decision I ever made.

They have small “overnight” bags with earplugs, eye covers, etc you can ask for.

“What complications?”

“Work-sleep balance.”
