Some years back I got sucked into the “My executive dysfunction won’t let me do the dishes so I can’t cook” loop and ended up spending some 25k in door dash that year.
I’ve since uninstalled the app, I can’t be trusted. Now I recognize that paper plates can be a disability tool and if I’m having a rough day and can’t handle cooking I just air fry some tofu and call it a day.
My environmentally conscious side kept me from using paper or plastic for years until I realized I was doing more damage having delivery in take out 4 nights a week.
Now that I have the OPTION to use paper plates and plasticware it has been significantly easier to make the CHOICE to wash dishes and cook my own food.
Also, @the mods to this comm, should I have marked this post NSFW since it’s technically not vegan (it’s plant based)?
Finally a restroom for my gender!
I slow roasted 4 heads of garlic at 250 for 2 hours, squeezed it through a funnel into a glass bottle, added about 3 tbsp of Gochugaru flakes, then heated enough sesame oil to fill it 80% of the way to 350 (verifying temp with a thermometer) and just poured the oil over it. Super simple stuff, just a bit tedious.
Be very careful if you attempt this, when you add the heated oil it will flash boil any water than remains in the pepper flakes and garlic and can boilover
Edit: oh, uhh, those are murica units btw, not normal units.
A few years back I woke up with some minor pain in my pp, assuming it was just a UTI that’d pass on its own I let it go for around a week until it was unbearable, and I ended up leaking blood every time I went to pee. Finally went to the hospital and it turns out I had E. Coli in my weenie. The infection had spread to my bladder, and up into my ureter. Doc said if I’d let it go another day it would have hit my kidneys where it could have become a full blown systemic infection, which likely would have killed me.
If your bits hurt, go to the doctor.
