Have you already forgotten that immediately after the Trump v. United States SCOTUS ruling there were a bunch of posts and comments saying Biden should have Trump assassinated and call it official business?
You could say they were satire, but a casual observer can’t tell for sure.
Some of the worst lab accidents involve imbalanced centrifuges. The rotors essentially explode when they fail. Making a centrifuge that you could film the contents of sounds like it would lack the proper shielding to contain a failure.
I wouldn’t trust the average youtuber to know just how dangerous such a setup could be.
They’ve got a decent start on building a second tower. So even a catastrophic failure would hopefully not set them back that much.
A booster at the end of flight has way less explosive potential than the stack waiting for flight. The vast majority of fuel will have been expended. Plus it should be coasting toward a spot out at sea. For it to actually make contact with the tower should mean it already slowed down and has maintained control.
In the Everyday Astronaut starbase tour, Musk mentions how the chopstick arms that are installed on the tower are longer and heavier than they want. They already have replacement arms that are ready to be installed, it just isn’t a high priority item at the moment. So if the catch attempt damages the arms but leaves the rest of the infrastructure in serviceable condition, they’ll be back to operational capability in short order.
Also, having a bunch of unnecessary accounts greatly increases the chances of a data breach leading to identity theft for people who recycle passwords, which is a lot of people. I only sort of trust my bank and google to have proper security to avoid data breaches. I definitely dont trust every random content site.
