I disagree, unprofitable sites becoming popular then being destroyed by aggressive monetization ultimately resulting in their failure and the loss of loads of useful information isn’t something to strive for.
These sites need to not hemorrhage money, they shouldn’t be milk cows either. The problem is unnecessary overhead, for example reddit having 1,400 employees.
I like the idea of the FCU trend, I wonder when a company will finally extend the system to rifles/shotguns.
We don’t need bigger open worlds. I’d rather have a Far Harbor sized Fallout every other year than a FO4 sized game after 8.
I really like the idea of 8.6 for hunting. Pragmatically most NA game is shot within 200 yards. So why not focus on performance in that range?
I’ve got a DT MDRx and hope they produce an 8.6 barrel for that soon. I heard that it’s on their radar because of the number of requests for it.
The worst part about this and similar cases is that we all know how it will end. They clearly understand they don’t have a winning case and are just hoping that a court will side with them and there isn’t an appeal or more likely that they can drag their feet to delay the inevitable ruling against them.
And they face no repercussions for doing it because they’re working on the tax payers dime. If they lose their case they’re out nothing.
Kinda of, but if you could SBR a FCU you could swap it between an Ar-15, Ar-10, or put a stock on a handgun. That’s absolutely a perk of lower receivers but if it was the FCU that was the firearm instead it could be even more flexible. Currently you can SBR a Ar-15 lower but then you’re stuck with just AR compatible parts, with a FCU nothing would stop companies from selling pretty much most types of firearms that accept that FCU.
That’s far from the right way of saying it. You’re just contributing to the polarization. Not funding foreign wars isn’t treason, regardless of the lack of merit of Putin’s assault on Ukraine. We can all disagree with each others stances without getting into vitriolic Us vs Them flame wars.
