In the industry there used to be a big split between cg animation and vfx work. Different pipelines, different organisation of crew. Now a lot of vfx films have whole sequences of full cg shots, so it’s not so different to making animation.

What if you’re thinking about showering while out and about? Also what if you’re thinking about having thoughts in the shower while you’re not in the shower?
For engineering equipment it’s often impossible to deal with the manufacturer. Your purchasing, training, calibration and trouble shooting has to be done by local resellers who do all this. It can be a huge pain in the ass and just slows everything down unless you get a rare reseller that really knows their shit.
