That’s bullshit. Most people I have talked to believe trump should be sentenced accordingly to the felonies he has been convicted of, not executed.
Sure, blowhards in their online echo chambers love to bloviate about all the doom and gloom, but we have seen enough propaganda as of late to question the veracity of these dubious claims.
Most Americans are pretty much fed up with politics at this point. But the misinformation needs to stop.
Here’s why:
The Pledge of Allegiance was first published for Columbus Day, on September 8, 1892, in the Boston magazine The Youth’s Companion. It was written by a member of the magazine’s staff, Francis Bellamy. The publication of the Pledge, and its wide redistribution to schools in pamphlet form later that year lead to a recitation by millions of school children, starting a tradition that continues today.
Anyways, soldiers have died to save the flag. Standard bearers were critical officers during battle, and were responsible for holding a unit together, say when charging an enemy line or rallying the troops to defend a trench. Losing the standard could lose the battle and your men.
The Nazi party’s racist ideology was based off of the Eugenics movement that started in the US. Fascism has a bit of history in the US as well, besides the NYC Nazi rally.
Mussolini seemed to think that FDR was the same as him: https://italoamericano.org/the-italian-connection-roosevelt-mussolini/
I live in a city that has criminalized all fireworks, including pop-its. We’re talking arrest and jail time are on the table just for transporting them in your car through city limits (I’m sure this violates the Commerce Clause).
However, drugs are legal. I love their priorities.
Oh, and cutting down or trimming trees on your property is illegal without a permit. My neighbor was hit by a $10,000 fine because the street tree died and they didn’t pull a permit for it.
